Hydrogen a clean, recycle and abundant combustible

Hydrogen is the simplest of all elements.

In most hydrogen atoms, a dense central nucleus with a single proton is surrounded by a single orbiting electron.

Hydrogen Molecule H2

Hydrogen is by far the most plentiful element in the universe, making up 75% of the mass of all visible matter in stars and galaxies.

In other words hydrogen is the most abundant fuel, not only in earth but in the entire universe.

Unhappily, hydrogen in earth it is very rare in its natural state (its reduced mass makes with that it has escaped to the force of the gravity). However, it can be found in the water of the rivers and the oceans. It is necessary to appeal to electrolyse of water to extract it, a process that divides the water molecule (H2O) in two: this produces dioxigene (O2), on the other hand, and dihydrogen (H2) for another one. This electrolyse uses electricity, that can be produced in diverse ways (wind power, solar, hydria energy, etc.).

Hydrogen combustion follows a simple chemical formula: two molecules of H2 combine with a molecule of O2 to form two molecules of H2O (water) in vapour form, being freed at the same time a great amount of energy. This reaction produces very little oxide of nitrogen (NOx) and does not emit any CO2 (the responsible gases for the greenhouse effect).

The hydrogen is considerably more combustible than the conventional gasoline.
